Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
Important notice: MountSite is currently operated as an independent service pending formal business registration. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and the MountSite service (mountsite.be).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MountSite (mountsite.be), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
MountSite provides an AI-powered email automation platform for professionals, including the following core features:
- AI email summarisation and reply drafting — incoming emails are analysed and professional response drafts are generated for your review
- Calendar integration — with your permission, MountSite checks your availability to inform scheduling suggestions
- WhatsApp notifications — summaries and draft responses are delivered to you via WhatsApp for approval
- User control — nothing is sent on your behalf without your explicit approval. You review and approve every action before it is executed
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
3. User Responsibilities
Account information
You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and for keeping this information up to date.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Professional compliance
If you use MountSite in a regulated profession (medical, legal, notarial, etc.), you remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable professional regulations, codes of conduct, and client confidentiality obligations. MountSite is a productivity tool and does not replace your professional judgement or responsibilities.
Prohibited uses
You may not use MountSite to:
- Send spam, unsolicited communications, or harassing messages
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the service for any fraudulent purpose
4. Subscription and Billing
Subscription model
MountSite is offered as a monthly recurring subscription. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Pricing
Current pricing is displayed on our website at mountsite.be. All prices are in Euros and are exclusive of applicable VAT where required.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to the service until that date.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-period, you will continue to have access until the end of the period you have paid for. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.
Price changes
We will provide at least 30 days' notice by email before any price changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Limitation of Liability
Nature of service
MountSite is a productivity tool, not a professional advisor. AI-generated email drafts are suggestions only. You are fully responsible for reviewing and approving all communications sent through your account.
AI-generated content
MountSite uses AI to generate draft responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You accept full responsibility for any draft that you approve and send to third parties.
Liability cap
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MountSite's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Exclusions
MountSite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
6. Intellectual Property
Platform: MountSite and all associated technology, software, design, and content are owned by MountSite and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform.
Your data: You retain full ownership of all data you input into MountSite, including your emails, calendar data, and account information. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms of Service, without obligation to provide a refund for any prepaid period.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion via the contact form. Upon termination, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium.
9. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
